If June Had a Closet
Summer is officially in full swing! We wanted to showcase what we think would be in June’s personal closet. These are the staples of the season that we think belong in your closet too!
Colors
Bright colors are one of our favorite parts of summer dressing. These blues and pinks can easily stand on their own, but they also pair beautifully with patterns and neutrals.
This season, we’re seeing lots of mixing and matching when it comes to color. There really seem to be no rules, wear the colors that make you feel confident and the ones you naturally gravitate toward, even if they don’t match perfectly.
Sometimes all it takes is one bright color to make getting dressed feel a little more fun.

Patterns
Florals are one of our favorite ways to step into summer. From flowy dresses to skirts and tops, patterns bring so much personality to a closet. Plus, richer floral prints make an easy staple to transition into fall.
Don’t let pattern-mixing intimidate you! One of our favorite tricks is keeping one element consistent. If you’re mixing a floral skirt with a patterned scarf, look for one common color thread to tie everything together. Summer style should feel playful, so don’t overthink it.

One easy way to incorporate pattern into an outfit is through accessories. A scarf with bright colors or bold prints adds just the right amount of personality. Lately, we’ve loved styling scarves around the waist, in the hair, or tied around the neck for a classic touch

Textures
Summer textures may be one of our favorite things to play with. Silk, lace, linen, each one brings something different to an outfit.
Lace and silk feel elevated but still easy, whether styled together or paired back with something casual like an oversized sweatshirt or button-up.
Linen is one of our favorite fabrics for summer because it feels light, breathable, and effortless for warm days. Whether you’re spending the day outside or simply trying to stay cool, it’s the kind of fabric that feels just right for summer.

Lifestyle
Now that your June closet is fully stocked, it’s time to actually wear it. Summer dressing is about more than just getting dressed- it’s the little things that make the season feel special. A bright color that puts you in a better mood, a scarf tied in your hair on a warm afternoon, or a dress that somehow feels just right for wherever the day leads.
Whether summer looks like Saturdays at the Fayetteville Farmers Market, hosting friends for a wine night, packing for a trip, or simply slowing down a little, we think getting dressed should feel just as fun as the season itself.
A few things we think belong in a June closet this summer:
• A scarf tied in your hair (or around your waist)
• A good book you keep meaning to finish
• Fresh flowers on the counter
• An excuse to stay outside a little longer
• A dress that makes an ordinary day feel a little more fun
